I recently had the opportunity to photograph the NCHEA 2026 Spring Seminar held at The Cradle at Pinehurst. Working as a Pinehurst event photographer, events like this are always exciting to capture because they bring together professionals from across the region for meaningful conversations, networking, and collaboration.

This year’s seminar centered around the theme “Rise to the Challenge,” encouraging attendees to explore new ideas in leadership, sustainability, regulatory changes, and operational performance. It was great to see so many professionals coming together to learn from one another and strengthen relationships within the healthcare facilities community.

I was brought in by Bonitz, one of the lunch sponsors for the event, to photograph their team throughout the afternoon and capture moments from the event as it unfolded.

The NCHEA 2026 Spring Seminar was hosted at The Cradle at Pinehurst, a unique par-three course that created a relaxed and welcoming environment for the event.

Throughout the seminar, healthcare facility professionals and industry partners gathered for focused education and meaningful connection. Guided by the theme “Rise to the Challenge,” the event offered timely perspectives on leadership, regulatory change, sustainability, and operational performance—paired with practical strategies attendees could bring back to their organizations.

The seminar also featured a strong presence from vendors and sponsors within the industry. These partners played an important role in supporting the event and creating opportunities for attendees to connect with companies offering services and solutions within the healthcare facilities space.

One of the lunch sponsors for the event was Bonitz, who invited me to come photograph their team and capture the energy of the day.

What I Captured

Throughout the event, I focused on capturing the natural moments that make gatherings like the NCHEA Spring Seminar so valuable.

Many attendees were reconnecting with colleagues, catching up by the fireplace, and having conversations about upcoming projects and ways their teams could collaborate in the future. It was great to see both familiar faces and new connections being made throughout the afternoon.

Because the event took place at The Cradle at Pinehurst, the setting added a unique atmosphere. Rather than a traditional trade show floor, attendees were able to move throughout the course and clubhouse, allowing conversations and networking to happen in a more relaxed environment.

A big part of my focus was photographing the Bonitz team as they connected with both current clients and new people in the network. Events like this are a great opportunity for companies to strengthen relationships, introduce their services to new partners, and continue building their presence within the industry.

I also captured images of attendees out on the course, photographing teams as they teed off and played throughout the event.

To help tell the full story of the day, I flew my drone above the course to capture aerial images of the event. These photos showcase the beautiful setting of Pinehurst from above and highlight the golf course, clubhouse, and overall atmosphere of the seminar in a way that ground-level photos alone can’t always capture.

Why Event Photography Matters

Events like the NCHEA Spring Seminar are about much more than just the day itself. For many companies, these gatherings are an opportunity to strengthen relationships, build new partnerships, and showcase their involvement within the industry. Professional event photography helps capture those moments so they can continue creating value long after the event ends.

One of the most common ways companies use event photos is for marketing. Images from conferences, seminars, and networking events are often shared on company websites and used to promote future events. They help show potential clients and partners the type of industry involvement and connections a company is actively building.

Event photos are also extremely valuable for social media. Many businesses share images from events on platforms like LinkedIn, Instagram, and Facebook to highlight where their team has been, who they connected with, and the organizations they support. It’s a great way to show followers the work happening behind the scenes and let people know where they can find and network with the team at future events.

In addition to marketing and social media, event images are often used for internal communications. Companies frequently include these photos in newsletters, internal updates, and recap emails to share highlights from the event with team members who may not have been able to attend.

Finally, event photography plays an important role in future promotions. Whether it’s advertising the next seminar, promoting sponsorship opportunities, or highlighting a company’s presence at industry events, professional photos provide strong visual content that helps tell the story of the experience.

It was great being part of the NCHEA 2026 Spring Seminar and capturing moments from the event for the Bonitz team.

Having professional photography allows organizations to preserve those moments and share them with their teams, partners, and audiences long after the event is over.

If your company is planning a conference, trade show, networking event, or corporate gathering and needs photography coverage, I’d love to help capture it.
